Use this guide to understand payments and pickups as a producer

Payment Options

Payment options are found under the “Payments” tab of your Producer Dashboard. You can create a Stripe account for secure credit card payments through the GreensShare website and include your Venmo information for Venmo payments. You can of course also collect cash payments.

How to Coordinate Pickup

Messaging with the buyer is the best way to coordinate pickup time and location, whatever is most convenient for you. You can coordinate the pick-up at your home or any other location. If you also attend a farmers market, you can coordinate pickup at these events.

Setting Pickup Locations

You can set locations under the “Farmstand” tab on your Producer Dashboard. The origin location is your primary address or where you primarily grow. You can add additional pickup and market  addresses if you would like to coordinate additional pickups at a farmers market, farm stand at a different address, or other location.

Will buyers see my address?

Not if you don’t want them to. Under the “Farmstand” tab on your Producer Dashboard you will find the “Farmstand Location” drop down box. Under “Public map precision” you can select “approximate area”, which keeps your exact location private, or “exact location” if you would rather people see your location. This can be changed any time. If you choose “approximate area” you will have to message the buyer pick up address.
