Use this overview to understand how to use the messaging features

Where do I find messages?

Messaging could be found by clicking on the message bubble icon in the top right corner.

Open vs. Closed Messages

Open messages are for current conversations such as when you are actively coordinating pick-up time or answering questions for a potential buyer. Closed messages are past conversations your do not currently need to reference. You can move an open conversation to closed by selecting the message thread and clicking “Close thread” to the right of the name of the person you are speaking with. Click “reopen”, in the same location as “close thread” to reopen the thread.

Messages Settings

Settings can be viewed by clicking the “Settings” button under “Messages” at the top of the page. Here you can change if you would like in-app alerts to see a message banner while in messages, turn on desktop notifications, adjust if you would like to see a message preview.

Message Notifications

Visit the Messages Settings to adjust if you would like in-app alerts and desktop notifications. You will always get email alerts unless you are actively reading messages. These notification settings are the same for buyers and producers.
