GreensShare LLC (“GreensShare”) operates the website at https://greensshare.com. We provide an online marketplace connecting local producers and buyers.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: name, email, username, and password
  • Producer Information: business name, location, and product listings
  • Buyer Information: order history and messages with Producers
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device data, and cookies
  • Comments: when visitors leave comments, we collect the data in the form, plus the visitor’s IP and browser user agent string for spam detection. An anonymized string of your email address may be sent to Gravatar to display a profile image.
  • Media: if you upload images, avoid embedding location data (EXIF GPS), as site visitors may download and extract it.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the Platform
  • Connect Buyers and Producers
  • Communicate with you about updates, orders, and support

  • Between Buyers and Producers to complete transactions
  • With service providers (hosting, email, analytics) under confidentiality
  • If you request a password reset, your IP will be included in the reset email
  • As required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and legal obligations

7. Data Retention

  • Comments and associated metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and approve follow-ups automatically.
  • Registered users’ account data is stored as long as their account is active. Users can view, edit, or delete their information at any time (username cannot be changed).
  • Site administrators can also view and edit this information.

8. Your Rights

If you have an account or left comments, you can request:

  • An export of the personal data we hold about you
  • That we erase personal data we hold about you (except data we must retain for legal, administrative, or security purposes)
