1. Introduction

Welcome to GreensShare.com (“GreensShare”, “we”, “our”, “us”), a platform operated by GREENSSHARE LLC. By accessing or using our website and services, you (“you”, “user”, “buyer”, or “producer”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use our platform.

2. Platform Role & Liability Disclaimer

GreensShare is a virtual marketplace connecting individuals and small-scale producers (“Producers”) with potential buyers for local, homegrown, or handcrafted food and goods.

We do not produce, package, handle, store, or inspect items sold through the platform.

You agree that GreensShare is not responsible for:

  • The safety, legality, or quality of items listed;
  • The accuracy of listings;
  • Any harm or loss resulting from a transaction, product, or interaction.

3. User Responsibilities

A. Producers (Sellers)

By listing products on GreensShare, you agree to:

  • Follow all local, state, and federal laws relevant to food production and sales;
  • Comply with local cottage food laws, labeling requirements, and safety standards;
  • Provide accurate, honest information about your products;
  • Accept that all sales are direct transactions between you and the buyer.

You acknowledge that buyers may assume certain inherent risks in purchasing homegrown or homemade goods and that you are responsible for ensuring your products are safe and legal.

B. Buyers

By purchasing items through GreensShare, you agree to:

  • Exercise reasonable diligence and judgment when choosing products;
  • Accept that products may not be inspected or certified by third parties;
  • Contact the seller directly for any concerns or clarifications;
  • Acknowledge that local food often carries limited warranties and assumed risk.

You agree to act in good faith and not harass, threaten, or otherwise misuse the platform.

4. Prohibited Items & Activities

The following are strictly prohibited on GreensShare:

  • Alcohol, cannabis, CBD, tobacco, or any controlled substances, regardless of legality in your area;
  • Pharmaceuticals, herbal remedies making medical claims, or dietary supplements;
  • Raw milk, meat, poultry, or eggs unless expressly permitted by law and properly labeled;
  • Unlicensed interstate shipping of food items;
  • Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials;
  • Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings;
  • Spam, hate speech, or illegal conduct in messages or profiles.

We reserve the right to remove listings or users at our sole discretion.

5. Transactions and Payments

All transactions are between buyers and producers. GreensShare may offer payment tools but does not act as a seller or agent in any transaction.

Disputes must be resolved between the parties involved. GreensShare may assist, but is not obligated to mediate or refund.

6. User Content and Conduct

You are responsible for any content (text, photos, listings, messages) you post. You grant GreensShare a limited license to display your content for the purposes of operating the site.

We reserve the right to remove or block content or users that violate our rules or appear harmful to the community.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GREENSSHARE LLC, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or legal costs arising out of your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms.

You may discontinue use of the platform at any time.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
